Double ear clamps, refers to the two protrusions to weather from the clamp. The bulges can easily be closed with a pliers for confirmation. The ears of these clamps almost have a double clamping egg, compared to the 1-ear clamp. With situations where (thermal) expansion / shrinkage or vibrations often apply these two-ear clamps. Installation is almost the same as that of the installation of a 1-ear clamp. For correct seal, the ears must be sufficiently closed during installation.
