A weft nut is to screw bolts and thread ends in wood. This nut has a flange at the rear with barbs. The toothed flange prevents the nut from drawn through the wood. The barbs ensure that the nut does not rotate when the bolt is turned into it. You confirm the weft nut by first drilling a hole with the correct diameter in the wood, then stuck the nut in the wood with a hammer.
