Autoglym's Reflow is the new way to remove paint spots from bird droppings from the clear coat.
The paint damage is not caused by acids in the poop, but by heating and cooling of the clear coat. The clearcoat layer heats up under the influence of the sun and deforms itself around the poop stain, resulting in a permanent impression in the varnish layer over time.
